A deep state of relaxation that opens when you lie down and listen to the silence within yourself.
Maurius is a sound journey you take part in lying down, where sound, breath and relaxation come together. As you lie still, you are guided toward the theta state. A state between waking and sleeping, where thinking fades into the background, the body relaxes and something deeper opens.You don't need to do anything active during the session, other than be present.
What is Maurius
Hi, my name is Ernesto Arrendell, consciousness supporter and ceremony leader. In a Maurius session I work with different frequencies, connected breathing, voice, shamanic instruments and electronic soundscapes. Everything intuitively attuned to what arises in the moment.
The sounds are opening and deepening and support the natural restoration of the system.

What does the evening look like?
When you arrive you choose a spot where you can settle in quietly. You are energetically cleansed, followed by connected breathing, a guided spoken introduction that opens your subconscious, and then the journey itself. Afterwards there is time to return gently and there are drinks and something to snack on.

Maurius is for people who want to give themselves the gift of mental wellness. Who long for slowdown and deep relaxation. For those who want to create space without having to do anything active.This is for you if you:

Maurius takes place in the Leopoldskerkje Meerssen. The open space and natural acoustics make it a welcoming setting for lying sound experiences.
